Hi, I was so proud when I was at a beer festival at a pub in Leeds, and someone ordered a coal black porter.. I looked at the blurb from the festival, and it was from THORNE !!! My hometown, having lived down south for the last 15 years I was so shocked !! Brilliant - put Thorne on the map again !!!

I had a very nice half of Thorne Best Bitter yesterday in the Bluecoat in Rotherham. Later I went to Thorne, but I couldn't find any of your beers, I would said this was because The Victoria Inn was shut and The Punchbowl is an Old Mill Public House. :!cool:

Gutted to have left Donny before brewing commenced. But congratulations to all the team for the passion and perseverence....Will the brews turn sour travelling over into Lancashire? Keep up the good work. Nice to see something positive coming out of Thorne in these tough times. I know a lot of good comments are coming from the Rugby League forum from Doncaster RL where there is a special column on Beer with the Ghost Beer getting special mention this week.

Love your beers - but dont get out nearly enough! - so PLEASE consider doing something for the takehome market!! Be it bottles, minikegs or even filling peoples own containers at the brewery!!
