| Mark Burton the founder and former Chief Executive of Thorne Brewery CIC has left the Company.
The Board wishes to place on record our sincere gratitude for all the hard work and tenacity Mark displayed in setting up the Company in such an adverse economic climate. |

| The last week in August saw Thorne Brewery achieve record sales figures despite the fact that the “trade” is traditionally quiet during this peak holiday period.
Remarkably, sales of the Best Bitter and Pale Ale remain fairly even, although the exceptional quality of the Pale Ale seems to be making it slightly more popular! Plans are still being finalised to introduce a Stout, probably to be known as "Chairmans" as we approach the Autumn and Winter months. This may become a permanent addition to our two popular “flagship” beers, Best Bitter and Pale Ale which have quickly become established. Mike Richards, our Brewer is also working on a variety of "Seasonal" brews for you to watch out for! If you would like to enjoy our beers in your Local why not ask the Landlord if he can stock them! Thorne Brewery is proud to announce that we have now supplied our beers to more than 70 outlets! We aim to produce a regular update, either on the website newspage and/or in the newsletter so you will know where to find our beers in future! |
